Many college students are unaware of the path to take for their future. On Thursday, February 24th, 2022, The Broward College Science and Wellness Department hosted a virtual seminar in which a selection of Minority Men in Science shared their experiences as they made their journey to Broward College. This included their educational and career pathways that may or may not have been a straightforward path.  During this seminar, Professors Jason Sumpter, Dr. Nilo Marin, Dr. Kieron Prince, and Dr. Sean Hamilton engaged with faculty, students, and guests in the Minority Men in Science Seminar. Students gained insight into the path taken by some of the African American employees of Broward College in the STEM field. They also received invaluable advice which included the following:
